NHA Recommends Reconstruction of Moro-Ranipur N5 Link Under ADB Program

Moro-Ranipur Link Reconstruction On the basis of an umbrella PC-I created by the National Highway Authority Planning Wing, the NHA Executive Board requested that CDWP/ECNEC approve the PC-I for “Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of N-5 from Moro the Ranipur under ADB Flood Emergency Loan” at a cost of Rs. 36.212 billion.

The Executive Board discussed “PC-I for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of N-5 from Moro to Ranipur Km 318-404 (NBC & SBC) and 32 x Damaged Bridges under ADB Flood Emergency Loan” during its meeting, which was presided over by Capt. (Ret.) Muhammad Khurram Agha, Chairman, NHA.

On the basis of an umbrella PC-I created by the NHA Planning Wing, the board recommended approval of CDWP/ECNEC for the PC-I for “Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of N-5 from Moro to Ranipur Km 318 – 404 (NBC & SBC) and 32x damaged bridges under ADB Flood Emergency Loan” at a cost of Rs. 36.212 billion.

The NHA Executive Board also approved the contract’s award but M/s National Engineer Services Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., the most advantageous Consultant, for “Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study and Detailed Design for DI Khan Packages (542 KM),” at a rationalised cost of Rs. 245 million only (which includes salary costs, direct non-salary costs, and all applicable taxes, including GST.

Based on estimates created by the consultant and reviewed by the NHA Design Section, the NHA Executive Board recommended the updated PC-I for the Construction of the D.G. Khan Northern Bypass (20 Km) at a Cost of Rs. 10.795 billion for approval of CDWP/ECNEC. The Board instructed NHA to present various solutions for enhancing fence design.
